You can contact us at any time by emailing info@couturebridalhair.com. These terms are effective from 6 August 2026.

2. Enquiries, availability and booking

  • Sending an enquiry is not a booking and does not reserve a wedding date or any availability.
  • An availability email confirms only that the date is available at the time that email is sent.
  • Dates are offered on a first come, first served basis and are not held while the Client considers or completes the booking.
  • The agreement becomes binding only once we have confirmed availability, the Client has accepted these Terms and Conditions through Stripe Checkout, and the £99 retainer has been successfully received.
  • The £99 retainer is non-refundable, is deducted from the final balance, and secures the agreed date and services once received.
  • Until both steps are complete, another client may secure the date.
  • A quotation is based on the services, party size, timings, staffing and location supplied by the Client.

3. Minimum booking

A minimum booking of three people applies to each bridal party booking.

  • If numbers later fall below three people, the minimum charge remains payable.
  • No refund, discount or reduction is given solely because the party falls below the minimum.

4. Payments

  • Booking : A £99 retainer fee secures your wedding date and is deducted from your final balance
  • Where a wedding is less than 6 weeks away, full payment is required at the point the booking is secured.
  • 10 weeks before your wedding : 50% of your rating balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding: The final remaining balance is due
  • Payment methods may include debit or credit card, or bank transfer.
  • Services cannot be provided where a required balance remains unpaid.

5. Changes to a booking

  • Changes to party size, services, timings, venue or location must be requested in writing as early as possible.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may alter the quotation, staffing, timings, travel or accommodation costs.
  • We will always try to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee them.

6. Cancellation by the Client

  • Cancellations are valid only when received by email.
  • The £99 retainer and payments for trial services already carried out are non-refundable.
  • Where a cancellation is made within 6 weeks of the wedding, we may charge up to the outstanding balance, limited to the losses we reasonably incur as a direct result of the cancellation.
  • In calculating any such charge we take into account costs saved and any replacement booking secured for that date.
  • Non-refundable travel or accommodation costs we have already committed to remain reimbursable by the Client.

7. Cancellation or non-performance by us

  • If we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will refund payments relating to services not provided within seven days.
  • Where a member of the Team is ill, delayed or otherwise unavailable, we will inform the Client promptly and make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitably experienced alternative stylist.
  • Where events outside our reasonable control prevent us from attending, we will first try to postpone or agree a suitable alternative with the Client.
  • If performance is impossible and no alternative is agreed, payments for services not provided are dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.

8. Travel, time and surcharges

  • Mileage is charged at 50p per mile, calculated from the Studio to the service location and back.
  • Travel time is charged at £30 per hour, per stylist, from leaving the Studio until returning to the Studio.
  • Distances are calculated using an online journey planner and confirmed in the quotation.
  • The London Congestion Charge, or any equivalent location-specific charge, is payable where incurred.
  • Rail, air or alternative transport is agreed during booking where required.
  • A surcharge of £50 per stylist applies to weddings taking place on a UK bank holiday.
  • Prices shown on the Services and Pricing page exclude travel time and travel expenses.

9. Early starts, accommodation and subsistence

  • Where a booking requires us to leave the Studio at 5:00am for a 6:30am start, a charge of £50 per stylist applies.
  • Where approximately 1.5 hours of travel would be required before 6:00am, an overnight stay may be required at the Client's cost.
  • Necessary accommodation and subsistence for all required Team members is payable by the Client.
  • We will always seek a cost-effective option and agree any such costs with the Client in advance.

10. Destination weddings

  • These general terms also apply to destination weddings.
  • The Client pays the required travel, accommodation, visas, airport parking, fuel, insurance, licences and equivalent necessary costs, including those for an additional stylist where required.
  • A day rate of £500 per stylist applies for each day a stylist is away from the Studio.
  • All arrangements and costs are confirmed in writing before the booking proceeds.

11. Trials

  • Trials are paid services held at the Studio on weekdays by arrangement.
  • A trial usually lasts between two and three hours.
  • Weekend trials, where agreed and available, carry a 20% surcharge.
  • At least 48 hours' notice is required to request a change to a trial appointment.
  • Any additional or repeat trial is charged at the applicable standard trial rate.

12. Hair extensions

  • Purchased extensions are charged at £120 for 16-inch, £140 for 18 to 20-inch, and £150 for lengths longer than 20 inches.
  • A mandatory £30 cutting and blending fee applies to purchased extensions used to enhance a hairstyle.
  • Delivery charges are excluded and supplier prices may change; the current cost is confirmed before any purchase is made.
  • Extension hire is available at £50 for suitable styles.
  • Hire is not available for Hollywood Waves, as that style requires a purchased, custom-cut full set.
  • Hired extensions remain the property of Couture Bridal Hair. Loss, damage, non-return or excessive alteration may be charged at full replacement cost. Must be returned to the studio within 1 week post wedding date.

13. Client responsibilities, preparation and safety

  • The Client and Party must follow the hair-preparation guidance we supply.
  • Improperly prepared hair may require the style to be modified and does not create an automatic right to a refund.
  • The Client must disclose relevant allergies, sensitivities, medical or scalp conditions and recent treatments.
  • We may modify or decline a service where reasonably necessary for health or safety.
  • Products supplied by the Client are used at the Client's request, and we cannot guarantee their performance or longevity.
  • If the Client or a Party member is more than 15 minutes late, the service may be shortened or adjusted, or a reasonable additional charge may apply where our working time is extended.
  • We may stop or cancel services where there is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise unsafe behaviour towards the Team.

14. Working requirements

  • A clear table or flat surface, a suitable chair and appropriate lighting are required at the service location.
  • Please allow approximately 15 minutes for setup.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by unsuitable working conditions or lack of access, provided the requirement was communicated in advance.

15. Photography and marketing consent

  • Images and video are used only where the Client has given express permission through a separate photo and video consent form.
  • Refusing marketing consent does not affect the booking in any way.

16. Prices and additional time

  • Prices are determined by the year in which the wedding takes place.
  • Once the booking and quotation are confirmed, agreed prices are not changed unilaterally.
  • Prices may change where the Client changes services, party size, timings, venue or location, or where additional agreed staffing, travel, accommodation, extensions or time is required.
  • Elaborate styles, extensive extensions or padding, Hollywood Waves, client delays, or requirements exceeding the agreed time allocation may incur additional charges, which we agree with the Client as early as reasonably possible.

17. Additional studio attendees

If more than one additional person will attend a Studio appointment with the Client, please tell us in advance so we can confirm the Studio is able to accommodate them.

19. Client agreement

By accepting these Terms & Conditions through Stripe Checkout and paying the £99 non-refundable retainer, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
