Couture Bridal Hair is Nikki and Georgia — a mother and daughter who take a small number of weddings each year so that every bride is genuinely known.

Our story

Two stylists, one studio, and a great deal of care

Couture Bridal Hair grew out of a lifetime in hairdressing and a belief that bridal hair deserves far more than an hour on the morning itself. Nikki brought the technical foundation — condition, structure and longevity. Georgia brought a modern eye and the softer, movement-led styling brides ask for today.

Working together as mother and daughter changes the atmosphere in the room. There is no rush, no upselling and no template. We take a deliberately small number of weddings so that when your morning arrives, we already know your hair, your dress and your timings.

Everything happens in our private studio in East Yorkshire — trials and the quiet planning in between — before we travel to you on the day.

Nikki

Founder & bridal hairstylist

Nikki trained as a hairdresser long before she styled her first bride, and it still shapes everything she does — condition first, structure second, styling last.

She is the person brides ring when something changes. Calm, practical and completely unflappable on a wedding morning, she plans timings so carefully that the day rarely needs the contingency she has built into it.

Georgia

Georgia grew up in the studio and now brings a modern, fashion-aware eye to the bridal chair — the softer, undone, movement-led styling that so many brides now ask for.

She is the one who will gently talk you out of the picture you have saved and towards the version of it that will suit your hair, your dress and your face. Brides usually leave the trial with something better than they arrived imagining.

The studio

Where it all happens

The Couture Studio is a private space in East Yorkshire — no walk-ins, no waiting area and no one else in the chair beside you. Trials are held here by appointment, with parking and space for whoever you would like to bring. The full address is shared once your booking is confirmed.
